Children’s History Summer Camp

News

Published 05 June 2026

Join us at 14 Henrietta Street for a two-day summer camp, exploring the history of the building through games and crafts. Learn about the different chapters of the house’s history from Georgian beginnings to tenement times, create your own artworks inspired by the building, and enjoy fun interactive games in the historic setting of 14 Henrietta Street.

This camp is for children aged 9 to 12. Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult during the camp, but will need permission from a parent or guardian to take part. We will email you a permission form before the camp.

There is a charge of €12 for the two days for one participant, or €20 for two or more participants in the same family. Places are limited, so advanced booking is advised.

The ticket covers the cost of materials and refreshments for both sessions from 10am to 2pm on Monday and Tuesday. Drinks and light snacks will be provided, but children should bring a packed lunch.

Please note that some activities take place outdoors in the garden. Children should wear runners and comfortable clothing. Children should bring a jacket and sunscreen if needed.

You will be asked to provide details of any additional needs, health conditions or allergies once your booking is confirmed.

The camp will run twice this summer. Please only book into one session as the content repeats.
