The conservation of 14 Henrietta Street has been shortlisted for the prestigious European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2019.

Although the house is temporarily closed due to the Level 5 Covid restrictions, we are continuing to run our popular Teatime Talks, a series of talks inspired by the history, people and surroundings of 14 Henrietta Street. By listening and engaging with historians, experts, former tenement residents, local residents and their families, we continue to uncover and record the history and stories of 14 Henrietta Street. The Teatime Talks which run twice a month, have moved online and are free to join.

Due to the COVID-19 government restrictions, our public tours have been temporarily suspended. We look forward to reopening our doors to you as soon as guidelines allow.

Our monthly Teatime Talk series continues, with all talks moving online. These talks are free of charge but booking is essential.

14 Henrietta Street is only accessible by guided tour.

Tours last approximately 75 minutes and pre-booking is essential. Please note only card transactions will be facilitated on site.

Tour times

Thursday - Sunday: Tours on the hour from 10:00 - 16:00
Monday - Wednesday: Closed (excluding bank holidays)
Open on Bank Holidays (Sunday hours)

Ticket Price

€9.00 adults
€6.00 concession (OAP, student, child aged 5-18)

We recommend arriving no more than 10 minutes prior to the start of your tour. Be advised that some of the floors and steps in the building are uneven and steep, so please wear comfortable shoes. 

Please be advised that government guidelines now require that face coverings are mandatory in museums. We will not be able to facilitate entry to the museum without a suitable face covering. Should you forget your face covering on the day one will be provided for you. Please inform us if you are exempt from wearing a face covering.

Lift access is also available between the floors for anyone who may wish to use it.
